Past failures s/he would be embarrassed to have people know about and why: When he was 6, Gage asked his sister Claire to marry him.
Biggest role model: Grandfather
Why?: Even though he is old, he is still strong enough to live on his own in nature.
Biggest disillusions from childhood: Just because you see someone less than another doesn’t mean they love you any less.
History: Gage was third born in a loving family located in Iron River, Michigan. When he was born, Gage was sickly and had to go back and forth to the hospital for five months. Towards the end of the five months, his health took a turn for the worst. He was rushed to the hospital and put in intensive care. For hours he was in a battle of life and death. When his worsening condition reached its peak and the doctors were losing hope that he would make it, the condition quickly and mysteriously started to lessen. After that incident, Gage has been in very good health.

Gage had two older sisters. The oldest, Claire, was a lively girl. She was always full of energy and would especially like playing with her new brother Gage. The next sister was named Robyn. Robyn was a reserved sort of person and would more often enjoy playing by herself than with others. Therefore, Gage never formed a very strong bond with Robyn, unlike with Claire.

Gage’s father was an optometrist who worked two hours away so he was gone from the house for most of the day. Gage’s Mother worked closer by but was a business manager and worked long hours each week. Because of this, during the day the children would be taken care of by their grandparents on their mother’s side. Claire was very protective of Gage. She wasn’t so protective that she didn’t let him do anything, but she was always there with him. Gage would often be holding his big sisters hand and be dragged around to play many different games.

Four years after Gage’s birth, he got a new sister named Lyra. Lyra grew to be a very timid girl and would usually be hiding behind something. In the end, she latched onto Gage. Wherever Gage went, Lyra was typically not far behind. Because Lyra stayed with Gage often, this in turn meant she would spend much time with Claire. After a while, Lyra started to get a little bolder and even tried to play with Robyn sometimes. Robyn would let her play but would be unresponsive. Because of this unresponsiveness, Gage could feel the distance between them and when they did talk it was either in a neutral or negative manner.

While being taken care of by their grandparents, either at their own house or at their grandparents, the three sisters would usually be with Grandma Annie in or near the house while Gage would be with Grandpa Keme out exploring. Keme was formerly part of a Native American tribe and new all about the wild and how to find what you needed. Throughout their time together Keme would teach Gage all about survival and the animal that lived there.

Because Gage saw much less of his parents than his grandparents, he was often distant and shy with his own parents. He would hide from them or say he would want to stay with grandpa instead of going home. His parents had always tried to make time after work to play with their children but it was still not long enough to be considered significant compared to the time with their grandparents. By the time he reached age eight he had completely forgotten about any feelings of unease towards his parents.

At age five, Gage got permission from his parents to go on a nature walk, where he and his grandfather would live out in the woods with no outside access or help. At first Gage was excited to go. However, the next couple days would be a rough transition for him. But with his grandfather’s help, he would pull through and especially enjoy the trip by the end. They returned on the twelfth day with an exciting experience now under Gage’s belt.

When Gage entered 5th grade, he became interested in martial arts. After the approval of his parents he looked for one suitable for him. He eventually decided on a hybrid style based on multiple martial arts called Kuk Sool Won. Much to the surprise of his peers, master, and even himself, he was a natural. By the summer before his 8th grade year, he was a first degree black belt. He continued on in his school of martial art and moved up the black belt ranking. He still practices in the present.

Robyn remained distant to most people even throughout high school. She only had a few friends and didn’t seem to try to find more. Claire received high marks in her class and went on to college at UW-Madison.  The next year Robyn went off to college at Northern Michigan University. Gage had always been a bright boy but high school was when he really applied himself and studied often. He maintained his position at the top of the class throughout all his years in high school. Even though he was grown, he was still very close to Claire. Though he would say otherwise, the main reason he decided to go to UW-Madison was so he could stay close to Claire (in a non-romantic way, of course).

Lyra is now in her first year of high school and has become much more independent from Gage since the beginning of her 8th grade year. She still contacts Gage frequently while he is off at college. Gage will also often see Claire around campus and will visit sometimes. He has recently been talking to Robyn more and getting along better. He was approached by a representative of Goh the end of his junior year in high school.

How does each parent treat the character now?: They both try to treat Gage like an adult, Daniel being the more successful of the two.
What does each parent think of the character?: Both are very proud of their son for graduating at the top of his class and attending college in Madison.
How did the character treat each of their parents growing up?: Sometimes Gage would become distant from his parents. Since his grandfather was there most of the time and not his parents he grew more attached to Keme. Gage would sometimes try to hide from his parents. By age 8 he was over this and started to become closer with his parents.
How does the character treat each of their parents now?: Gage and his parents are on good terms. He makes sure to visit them when he gets a break from college.
Caretaker(s): Keme and Annie Hansen
What is their relationship to the character?: Grandparents
Are they still alive?: Yes
At what age did the caretakers begin to raise this character?: Throughout childhood.
Did the caretakers know the birth parents and if so, how was their relationship?: Yes, Keme and Annie are Kendra’s parents and Daniel’s In-laws.
Did the character know the birth parents?: Yes
Siblings (if any): Claire, Robyn, Lyra
Are they still alive, if not who died and when?: Alive
Describe how each one treats this character: Claire has always been protective of Gage and always played with him when they were little. They are still on excellent terms and attend college together. Robyn was the most distant of the children. She would play by herself more often but would occasionally want to join Claire and Gage in their games. Gage and Robyn are on fairly good terms but don’t speak very often. Lyra was very clingy to Gage when they were children. Since starting her 8th grade year she has tried to stop being so dependent on Gage. Though she still relied on things like homework and school problems. Now, whenever Gage calls home, she will always jump on the phone to talk with him.
Describe how this character treats each one of his siblings: Despite being an adult now, Gage is still very attached to Claire. He even purposely went to the same college she went to so he could see her often, though he wouldn’t admit to it. Gage and Robyn have a mutual relationship. They are on good terms but they don’t talk often. Recently though, they have started to talk more. For Lyra, Gage has tried to be a good big brother and look after her. Whenever she had a problem he would hear her out and protect her when needed.
Does this character still keep in contact with their siblings?: Because Gage attends the same college as Claire they see each other often. Gage only sees Robyn when they return home from a college vacation or the occasional phone call. Gage will often call home and when he does he makes sure to talk to Lyra.
How has this character's relationship changed with their siblings since childhood?: Gage has tried to pretend he has become more dependent from his sister Claire but that has changed almost not at all. His relationship with Robyn has become somewhat friendlier since their childhood. Lyra has become more independent but will still ask Gage for advice and help with school.
How did s/he get along with the family as a whole?: After Gage got over that his parents were away at work most of the time, the relationship was very good. Whenever the parents would play a game with the kids Robyn would join in more often than if it was just the children.
How did s/he get along with the siblings, if any?: He always got along well with Claire and Lyra. Because Robyn was always distant, he wasn’t of the best terms with her as a kid.
Describe their family life/dynamic, growing up: Most of the children’s time would be spent with their grandparents. Claire, Robyn and later Lyra would play with Grandma Annie while Gage would talk with Grandpa Keme. Keme would often take Gage into the forest nearby. Occasionally Claire and/or Lyra would tag along. Once Robyn went too when it was all four of them. When not with their grandparents Robyn would be wandering and playing by herself. Lyra sometimes tried to play with Robyn. Robyn would let her play but wasn’t very responsive. When not with Grandpa Keme, Gage was always hanging around Claire. Lyra would not be far behind Gage. When their parents returned home from work, they would always make sure to fit in time to play with or spend time with their children.
Describe their family life/dynamic now: With Claire, Robyn, and Gage off at college, much has changed. Gage doesn’t always hang around Claire but will visit her often. Robyn is in a different college so there is not much contact. Lyra is still in high school and living at home.
Favorite parent: Grandfather Keme
Why?: Keme was the one who raised Gage most of the time and would take him on walks in the woods, teach him about Native American culture, and survival techniques.

Gage Weller 35i3fkj

Since you have waited so very, very long, I'm going to allow college students in on the action too. You may begin roleplaying.

You have 885 HP and 54 GP, not bad.
